How to Keep growing even as you face barriers

When you face difficulties in life, they only should force you to sharpen your sword and get ready for the battle ahead and when you do that there is no looking back. There may be umpteen number of barriers but it’s you who should decide your fate and work on your growth. The following will inspire you to keep growing

Take baby steps

Life is a marathon and not a sprint. Success overnight was never a reality. People have their ups and downs in life. You need to take baby steps, fall down and again bounce back on your track. You may not make it at the first time but you can always fake it till you make it

"Great things are done by a series of small things brought together"-Vincent Van Gogh

Exercise your creative instincts

People who have grown successful have all done that by exercising their creative instincts. It is your key to get noticed and act as spring-board for you to be unique in your area of expertise. Innovation and creativity has its source in knowledge. So go hunt for ideas!

"Flood your life with ideas from many sources. Creativity needs to be exercised like a muscle. If you don't use it, you'll lose it!"- Brian Tracy

Focus and Simplicity

There are challenges to overcome and problems to solve. The solution is as simple as being simple. Work on your problems, see if you can find a simple solution. Can a harder task be simplified or a complex problem be broken down into smaller, more chewable bits. Once you master this art, even the toughest of the problems would not intimidate you.

"Simple can be harder than complex: You have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple. But it’s worth it in the end because once you get there, you can move mountains.”― Steve Jobs

Force yourself to evolve

Try to evolve with every single barrier that comes along your way. You must be willing and eager to adapt to the change that you face. This will give you a competitive edge over others

"The whole point of being alive is to evolve into the complete person you were intended to be"- Oprah Winfrey

Stop glorifying failures

Be patient, passionate and aggressive focussing on the task at hand to overcome failures and distractions. Failures will teach you a lesson. No doubt about that. But try to move on and stop pondering on the subject. When failures disturb you, stop for a moment, refuel and get on the road.

"If you are hurt, lick your wounds and get up again. If you’ve given it your absolute best, it’s time to move forward"- Richard Branson
